Having audio issues? Don't worry—we'll help you get back to your self-tape quickly with these simple fixes.

If the app doesn't hear your lines

  1. Use Chrome or Safari - These browsers fully support our voice recognition features

  2. Use a laptop - Laptops typically provide better processing power and more reliable connections than mobile devices

  3. Enable microphone access - Check that your browser has permission to use your mic (reload the page after enabling)

  4. Check microphone settings - If using an external mic, ensure it's selected as your input device in system settings

  5. Restart your browser - A quick browser restart can fix permission issues and clear temporary glitches

  6. Restart your device - Sometimes a full device restart is all you need to resolve stubborn audio problems

  7. Test internet connection - Our speech processing needs a stable connection (see testing steps below)

  8. Update your browser - The latest version ensures you have all compatibility fixes and performance improvements

If you can't hear the AI audio

  1. Check your speakers - Make sure they're unmuted and volume is turned up

  2. Test internet connection - AI audio requires stable internet to stream properly
