Here are a few things to check:
Use a supported browser – For the best experience, use Google Chrome or Safari. Other browsers may not fully support microphone access.
Enable microphone access – Make sure your browser has permission to use your microphone. If you just enabled it, try refreshing the page.
Check your microphone settings – If you’re using an external mic, ensure it’s selected as the input device in your system and browser settings.
In Chrome, you can check and update microphone permissions by clicking the lock icon in the address bar or by visiting Chrome’s microphone settings.
For Safari ensure the microphone is set to “Allow.” You can find more details in https://robots.net/software-and-applications/browsers-and-extensions/how-to-allow-mic-on-safari
Restart your browser – Close and reopen your browser to reset microphone permissions and clear temporary issues.
Restart your phone or computer – Sometimes a quick restart resolves unexpected microphone problems.
Test your internet connection – A stable connection is important for accurate speech processing. You can run a quick test by googling “speed test” and selecting a speed test tool.
Update your browser – Running the latest version of your browser ensures compatibility and best performance.
